QuantDirection Platform v4.0 Release Notes

We are thrilled to introduce QuantDirection Platform v4.0, bringing you a suite of enhancements tailored to elevate your trading results. This release delivers new tools and refined features to help you make more informed trade decisions with greater speed across a broader set of Trade Signals. Below, we outline the key updates included in this version. We want to thank all of you who have contributed suggestions which are now a part of this release.

1. Pre-market Alerts (Beta)
Pre-market Alerts provide an early glimpse of Intraday alerts that will be officia

lly issued at market open, empowering you to plan your trades ahead of time. With these alerts, you can select trades, determine direction, and estimate price targets before the market begins trading. SPX does not offer Pre-Market quotes.
• Access: Navigate to your Dashboard, click "Alerts," then "Alert Reports." A link to the Pre-Market Report is available near the top of the Trade Alert Report.
• Availability: Alerts are active from 15 minutes before market open until 15 minutes after.
• Frequency: For each eligible Intraday Price Condition in your Alert Queue, you’ll receive three Alert Signals—at 15 minutes, 10 minutes, and 5 minutes prior to market open.

• Trading Methods: Use Pre-Market Signals to place Market or Limit orders for Stocks, ETFs, and Futures before the market opens, or wait for Market Open for Options. Adjust your final price target based on the official Alert Signal issued at market open.
• Customization: Before market open, filter your Trade Alert Report by Intraday, Symbol, and the newly added Condition No. or by Symbol type to focus on specific Pre-Market Alerts. Post-market open, view official signals for these alerts in isolation on the Trade Alert Report.
• Notifications: To distinguish them from Regular Market Alerts, Pre-market Alerts are exclusive to the Pre-Market Report and are not sent via email or SMS. Status updates, such as "Target Reached," are tracked on the Trade Alert Report based on the official Market Open Signal.
• User Input Collected: Through the period of the Beta Release we will be collecting user feedback to improve Pre-market Alerts capabilities. To provide quick feedback click on the link at the top right of the Pre-market Alerts Report ‘Feedback’.

2. New Alerts for Intraday, Multiday, and Trading Week
This release expands your trading opportunities with over 400 new Price Conditions, offering a wider range of price movement possibilities.
• Variety: Includes additional Intraday conditions with larger price moves, plus an enhanced selection of Multiday and Trading Week conditions tailored for Futures.
• How to Add: Access these new conditions via your Dashboard under "Add Alerts." Choose categories for your preferred symbols without worrying about overlap—the QuantDirection Alert Engine automatically removes duplicates from your Alert Queue.
These additions provide more flexibility to capture diverse market opportunities.

3. Simplified Alert Queue and Dashboard Tools
We’ve streamlined the Alert Queue and Dashboard tools to make navigation more intuitive and reduce complexity.
• Alert Queue Updates: The Price Condition description is no longer displayed in the Alert Queue. Instead, you’ll see key identifiers: Condition No., Symbol, Condition Status, Trade Period, Alert Type, Options Trade, and Text & Email status. This focuses on the essentials for managing your alerts.

• Description Access: Full Price Condition details remain available in the Trade Alert Report under "Alert details."
• Dashboard Adjustments: The Realtime Opportunities page has been removed from the Discover section of Dashboard Lite to avoid confusion (it’s still accessible in Dashboard Pro on the main page).
• Filter Refinement: The Options, Stocks, and Futures checkboxes have been removed from the Trade Alert Report filter section, simplifying your view.
These changes enhance usability and clarity, especially for new users.

4. On/Off Selection for Conditional Signals
Conditional Signals, which require a threshold event before trade entry, can offer higher success probabilities but are more difficult to enter. Version 4.0 gives you greater control over whether you receive these alerts.
• Toggle Control: When adding alerts, you can now disable Conditional Signals in your Alert Selection to exclude them entirely.

• Filtering Option: If you add Conditional Alerts in your Alert Queue, you can filter them out of your Trade Alert Report as needed.

You can also filter Conditional Alerts in your Alert Queue and make them inactive or delete them.

• Default Off: Now when setting up your account or Adding Alerts Conditional Signals are by default not included and must be selected.
This flexibility lets you tailor your alert experience to your trading preferences.

5. Individual Performance Reporting: Now available under ‘Performance Reports’ are individual Target Reached charts displaying your alerts overall performance for the prior ninety days. These charts are also broken down by Trade Periods: Intraday, One Day, Multi-day, Trading Week, & Multi-Week.
The charts provide a simple overview of the performance of the alerts based on the percentage of those Alerts that hit their target versus those that expired. Alerts that are still active are not a part of this calculation. To view this report click here and select the ‘My Targets Reached’ tab.
