New Features for Adding Alerts

Enhancements to the Trade Alert Profile

Granular Control for Trade Alert Conditions:

• Percentage Move Selection: Users can now add more granular controls to their Trade Alert Conditions by specifying limits based on the percentage move of price conditions. This new feature allows users to set minimum move thresholds ranging from 0.2% to 1.5%.

Issue(s) Addressed: This enhancement addresses feedback from members who noted that some price conditions with the smallest moves, often associated with high volatility symbols, reach their targets too quickly, preventing users from capitalizing on these alerts. Previously, users could only remove these conditions under the Manage Alerts module after they had been added.

Benefit: Users can now proactively de-select specific price conditions to prevent them from being added to their Alert Queue, ensuring a more targeted and manageable alert system.

Reformatted Trade Alert Profile:

• User-Friendly Interface: The Trade Alert Profile has been redesigned to enhance user experience. The new layout is more intuitive, making it easier for users to navigate and customize their alert settings.
• Additional Guidance: New instructional content has been added to guide users through the process of setting up and managing their Trade Alerts. This includes step-by-step instructions and tips for optimizing alert configurations.

Duplication Control: Issue(s) addressed: Prior to this release, when adding new alerts multiple times from the Trade Profile, could result in duplicates in the Alert Queue.  While they system does not send out duplicate Trade Alerts, by preventing duplicates from going into the Alert Queue it saves Members' time in managing their Alert Queue.

De-Duplication:

• Automatic system cross check on existing Alert Queue contents. Users may now add additional price conditions into their Alert Queue without the need to remove duplicates. The system will now check the set of added alerts and only add additional conditions which are not already present in the Alert Queue.
